These redeemed physical cars feature premium specifications not found in standard Hot Wheels retail releases, making them highly sought-after among serious collectors.

They release about 2 series per year. As of 2026 there are 10 series in the collection. Series 2 is one of the most valuable sets due to low distribution.

Walmart exclusives for Silver Series Hot Wheels exclusives currently consist of auto-themed (GD44), entertainment themed (GDG83) and Fast & Furious (HNR88) assortments. These assortments have been exclusive to Walmart for years. They were grandfathered into the Silver series label in 2023 but you can see early treatments of fully metals in sets like the Hot Wheels Convertible series from 2021.
